In August 2025 we visited Bobby Singh's BB Superstore in Pontefract, Yorkshire, to see if we could help him boost his biscuit and snack sales. Eight weeks later he shared the results.
As Bobby himself admits: “To be honest, we got a little bit comfortable with our biscuits and snacks fixture”.

The results have been brilliant! In just eight weeks, we’ve seen a 20% uplift in sales across the whole category.
At first glance, the fixture looked as if it would benefit from some love.
There were peanuts mixed in with the biscuits on the top shelf (at eye level), the bottom shelf was full of boxes of unrelated products, there were gaps in the display, and not all the packs were aligned or neat.
We noticed too, that the fixture could be improved with new POS and current, consistent shelf labelling.
After re-merchandising Bobby’s fixture to follow Better Biscuits guidelines, his biscuits and snacks fixture looked refreshed, clean and easy to shop.
Peanuts were removed from the top shelf helping to avoid any customer confusion. They were replaced with Flipz pretzels and new POS barkers to help drive eye-level impulse sales.
The whole fixture was updated with fresh shelf stripping and eye-catching price labelling. The unrelated product boxes were also removed to make space for a new crackers and snacks section.
When we went back to Pontefract eight weeks later, the fixture was still looking great, and Bobby was delighted to share that overall sales had increased by 20% across the category.
It's not just Bobby's sales which have improved:
“Overall, our customers loved it. We've had some great feedback saying, oh, have you had a bit of a refit or have you changed the way you're stacking things?"
