Being visible online is just as important as having a great selection of products
Why being on Apple Maps matters for your store

Apple Maps is built into every iPhone and iPad, making it one of the most used navigation tools in the UK. By listing your store, you’re making it easier for nearby customers to discover you when they search for snacks, convenience items, or local shops.

It’s a simple step that can lead to more foot traffic, better visibility and stronger community presence.

How to Set Up your Apple Maps profile
  1. Go to Apple Business Connect – visit businessconnect.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create it first.
  2. Search for Your Business – use the search bar to check if your business is already listed. If it is, you can claim it. If not, you’ll be able to add it manually.
  3. Add or Claim Your Business – Follow the prompts to either claim your existing listing or create a new one. You’ll need to enter your business name, address, phone number, and category.
  4. Verify Your Business – Apple will ask you to verify your business usually by phone or email. This step confirms that you’re the rightful owner or manager.
  5. Add Business Details – Once verified, you can add more information like your opening hours, website, photos, and a short description to help customers learn more about your store.
  6. Review and Publish – Double-check all your details, then hit publish. Your business will now appear on Apple Maps for nearby customers to find.
